Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how UseAIEasily ("we", "us"), based in Budapest, Hungary, handles personal data on useaieasily.com (the "Site") and for the UseAIEasily product. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Privacy by design. UseAIEasily is self-hosted: the product runs on your own infrastructure. Your customers' conversations, documents and knowledge base stay on your servers and are never sent to us. This policy covers the marketing website and your account/billing with us — not the data inside your self-hosted deployment, for which you are the data controller.

1. Who is the controller

For the Site and your UseAIEasily account, UseAIEasily is the data controller. Contact: hello@useaieasily.com.

2. What we collect and why

  • Website analytics — privacy-friendly, first-party metrics (pageviews, scroll depth, clicks, approximate country from your IP at the edge). No cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies. Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Account data — organization name, username, and email you provide when you create a console account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Billing data — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe (see §4). We store your plan tier, subscription status and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers — never your full card number. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in running the service.
  • Support & contact — the name, email and message you send us. Legal basis: legitimate interest / your consent.
  • Affiliate attribution — if you arrive via an affiliate link, a first-party ss_click identifier lets us credit the referring affiliate on a purchase. It contains no personal profile. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

3. AI models & your content

In the product, generation runs on local models on your infrastructure by default. If you enable a cloud model (e.g. via OpenRouter), the prompt and retrieved context are sent to that provider under your own agreement with them; embeddings and your knowledge base remain local. We do not use your content to train any model.

4. Payment processing (Stripe)

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor acting as our sub-processor. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we receive only tokens and metadata (customer id, subscription id, plan, status, amount, currency). See Stripe's Privacy Policy. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; you can cancel anytime (see our Terms).

5. Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies. Non-essential (analytics) cookies load only with your consent. Full detail and controls are in our Cookie Policy.

6. Sharing & sub-processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors that help us run the service: Stripe (payments), Vercel (website hosting, EU/global edge), and our first-party analytics. Each acts under a data-processing agreement.

7. International transfers

Data is processed primarily in the EU. Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

8. Retention

Account and billing records are kept for the life of your subscription plus the period required by tax and accounting law. Analytics are aggregated and retained for a limited window. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to help you.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these, email hello@useaieasily.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Hungary, the NAIH).

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
